561-C Handrails Over Roof Ladders

A fixed ladder gets workers up to the roof, but on longer runs, exposed elevations, or ladders crossing over equipment and rooftop obstructions, the climb itself becomes the risk. 

Standard side rails aren’t always enough once the fall exposure increases.

The 561-C adds a full handrail system over an existing or new roof ladder run, extending fall protection along the length of the climb rather than relying on the ladder structure alone. 

It’s specified where climb height, wind exposure, or facility safety policy call for additional protection beyond a standard ladder.

As with all Alaco systems, the 561-C is custom-fabricated to your ladder’s height, mounting condition, and roof layout. Available in aluminum or steel.
