561-SE-C Side Exit
Some rooftop access points don’t have room for a straight-through exit. A parapet, an obstruction, or tight clearance at the top can make climbing off the ladder awkward or unsafe if the ladder just ends at the top rung.
The 561-SE-C solves that with a side exit configuration.
Instead of stepping off straight ahead, workers exit to the side at the top of the climb, useful where headroom is limited, where equipment sits close to the ladder’s top landing, or where a straight exit would put workers in an unsafe position.
The side exit connects to the rail system, so fall protection continues right up to the point workers step off. Alaco builds the exit point, rail height, and turn radius around your specific rooftop layout.
